The bull / Toro can be placed outside or inside in a long term setting. With the sculpture attached to a stone base like granite it becomes a solid piece of art, ment to survive many decades. Or it can be used on fairs or presentations. The sculpture without the base weighs about 25 kilograms so one can relatively easy manoeuvre with the Bull. As a reference at a fair or an eye catcher at an event, this Toro will be added value to the occasion. The bull you see in the photographs, is realized with a length of 140 cm, a height of 60 cm and a width of 35 cm. 37 parts of 3 millimetres thick stainless steel are combined. The legs have doubled the thickness to 6 mm so it will be a solid sculpture. These parts are welded together in a professional way. Please take into account a delivery time of 2 months or more. As a whole this bull has, after the sandblasting, the appearance of an art piece well above its price tag. Optional are the base ( stone or lighter material), shipping and vat. We can deliver the bull in other dimensions or with a layer of gold leafs on request. In such case we gladly help you in obtaining a quote suited to the request.

Olivier van Wijk ( 1971, Geleen, The Netherlands ) creates sculptures, mixed media and design. With a penchant for old craft and the combination with new techniques Olivier van Wijk provides a growing collection. His work has a sleek design language with a nod to the manual details. The work takes to the flora and fauna , the fantasy world and man as inspiration. His artwork tells us of transience and eternity . Contemporary superlatives dating back to long before our era. The dynamics in the work of Van Wijk follows its own rules and sequence . The tactile properties of the materials with which Olivier Van Wijk works are of great importance . Sometimes the material is thus decisive for the shape of its operation is just the contrast. Favorite material to work with Bronze, Stainless steel, Paper and Glass. My father Dick van Wijk graduated at the art academy in 1971. I'm the second generation with the fortunate position to have access to a high end clientele, build by my mother and art gallery owner Mariska Dirkx.
