Well honesty is the best policy so here we go. I was researching different styles of painting and experimenting with different techniques, and one rainy day in my garage (should I say STUDIO ) I was playing with some ideas. So this whole painting in made with NO BRUSHES at all. I know that is not to difficult, but it was after all an experiment. Honestly if you want to know how I made each part of the painting, just ask and I will tell you. My main implements were a drinking straw a balloon a length of wool, plus some scrunched up plastic wrap. If you have seen some of my other works, you will probably agree that CRAZY is in my personal definition. I don't know many Ozzies that are not a bit crazy anyway. To all our grandkids and others, I am Poppy Pat and my wife is Nanny Lu. This painting is therefore Nannas Summer Garden. The painting is 76 cm wide and 61 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is finished with a mid gloss varnish, which enhances the color and protects the paint. On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and does not need a frame as all the edges are painted. It also has felt cushions on the back to protect your walls.
