Toposa Woman. This photo is a part of a long term photographic and etnographic project „ Dying tribes” relised since 2013. Last trip "At the two banks of the White Nile River" was photographic expedition to South Sudan. I spent few days living with Toposa. One of the distinctive things of Toposa are their scarifications. This female obtain the pattern of dots on the face by pricking with an infected needle, then creates a scar. This series contains 10 copies on Hahnemule photo rag 308g with certificate of authenticity, hologram and signature.The size is 100x70cm.

Krzysztof Werema - an archaeologist by education, he created a successful career in photography. He started his photographic journey in 2008 and to date he has been awarded various accolades both in Poland and abroad, inter alia, International photographer of the year (Include year), Px3 Paris (Include year), International Color Awards 2022. He loves to work with flash lighting technique in his projects. Krzysztof Werema has showcased his photography at exhibitions in Poland, Australia, Ireland and the UK. In addition to his keen eye behind the Camera, he also follows other interests from which he draws inspiration such as; Surreal art, symbolism, human body, and studies of African ethnicity. For many years, the artist has been implementig the long-term project „Dying tribes”, the stages of which are closed by subsequent photography exhibitions. The latest exhibition “On both sides of the White Nile. South Sudan tribes” is the result of a trip to the youngest African country in January 2022.
