The word Amarya is gotten from the north which is referred to an hausa woman or wife. The work depicts their beauty and uniqueness to as every tribe in africa has got it's own special features but this women stands out in a way that makes them special with their beautiful outfits which are unique to them alone having their top shirt like a modern fashion trend we all call crop top in which i like to think that the very fashion trend originated from this peoples wonderful local attires and not to talk about the ornamentation on their body and the other decorations like beads, with a lot of other local jewelries which makes them represent a typical African woman and a typical african tribe in general. Including their very calabash which they carry to sell their native food which they call "fura". The typical black Africa heritage and culture is very beautiful and vast for we are yet to scratch the surface of what there is their in. I do hope the view would share this same excitement about what new thing africa always has in stock to share with the world and how beautiful the whole african lifestyle could mean something at every giving moment. I picked the medium to very well represent this image so inorder to show the uniqness in their creativity by using materials and found objects to come up with the end project for the viewers not only to see the creativity behind the work but to look past it and see the idea, content and context behind it as well.

Nigeria
I was born on the 17th of january in lagos, Nigeria where i attended my primary and secondary school before going to Ahmadu bello university zaria to obtain my undergraduate degree in fine arts in which i am currently a graduate specialized in painting. I have participated in several group art exhibitions and workshops and even had the opportunity to be featured in an art fair exhibition in kaduna state in the year 2017 with so many contemporary artist in which professor jerry buhari was part of as we exhibited side by side in which i am highly honoured for. My works are heavily influenced by my child hood life and growth, i use to be that kid who just didn't fit into anything usual like every other kid as i grew up and i might say even now i still don't fully fit in so through art, i built a visual perception of my own world where i find peace and comfort in, which is a combination of the real world and my mental world and you will find this world I've created in my painting series titled "my vision" where i try to capture a glimpse of reality with thick, rich and beautiful colours but with an impressionistic approach and distorted approach for the unknown is not really clear as it is only a perception in the head, an image that keeps on building itself towards perfection nevertheless the beauty is well perceived in that process. I want my audience to really see this as i hope to bring them into that world of mine, giving them that genuine creative feeling as their mind completes the works while they stare at it or it takes them to a world of their own by unlocking their very own mental world which i feel could be related to their lives at a certain point in time as we all create imaginary scenery in our head of what we hope to have or be engaged with.
